Executive Search Partner – CFO Executive Search c£130,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Our client is looking to appoint an exceptional Executive Search Partner to lead and grow its CFO and Finance leadership practice.

This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced executive search professional with a strong track record of advising and delivering senior appointments across the CFO, Finance, CEO, and Board landscape.

The successful individual will combine deep market expertise with strong origination, client development, and executive assessment capability, alongside the credibility to operate as a trusted adviser to CEOs, Chairs, Boards, and investors.

The opportunity

  • Lead CFO and senior Finance Executive Search assignments from origination through to delivery.
  • Develop and grow a market-leading CFO Executive Search proposition, identifying new sectors, clients, and opportunities.
  • Originate new business and build long-term relationships with CFOs, CEOs, Chairs, NEDs, Boards, and investors.
  • Advise clients on critical finance leadership appointments, succession, transformation, and the evolving role of the CFO.
  • Bring genuine market insight and executive-level judgement to every search.
  • Own and drive commercial performance, revenue growth, and profitability across the practice.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of search professionals.
  • Contribute at Partnership level to the firm's wider strategy, proposition, culture, and growth.
  • Help strengthen the firm's reputation as a trusted adviser in the senior Finance and CFO market.

What we’re looking for

We’re seeking a proven Executive Search Partner or senior search leader with:

  • Significant experience delivering CFO and/or senior Finance Executive Search mandates.
  • A strong track record of business development, origination, and winning senior-level assignments.
  • An established network across the CFO, Finance, CEO, Board, and investor community, or a clear strategy for building one.
  • Demonstrable commercial success and experience growing a search practice or client portfolio.
  • Strong understanding of the strategic issues shaping the modern CFO and Finance function.
  • The credibility and gravitas to engage confidently with Boards, CEOs, Chairs, and investors.
  • Exceptional executive assessment, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • A collaborative leadership style with a proven ability to attract, coach, and develop high-calibre search professionals.
  • The entrepreneurial mindset, ambition, and commercial judgement to operate successfully at Partnership level.
