Executive Search Researcher – Management Consulting
Central London | £30,000–£40,000 DOE + bonus | Boutique, female-led Executive Search firm
Are you academically strong, naturally curious and exceptionally good at communicating with people?
My client is a high-growth Executive Search firm specialising in the management consulting market, working with leading strategy and consulting businesses across the UK.
They are looking for a Researcher to join their team – someone bright, analytical and genuinely interested in understanding businesses, markets and people.
You'll be carrying out detailed market research, mapping specialist talent pools and speaking directly with senior professionals, while gaining exposure to the founders and the commercial side of Executive Search.
Who they're looking for
You could already be working within Executive Search – perhaps within one of the larger firms – and want to move somewhere smaller where you'll have more autonomy, greater responsibility and much closer exposure to the founders.

The opportunity
You'll research the management consulting market and help identify exceptional professionals from Analyst through to Director level.
You'll have the opportunity to:
- Conduct detailed market and company research
- Map specialist and often hard-to-find talent
- Speak with senior professionals across the UK and US
- Develop a genuine understanding of the management consulting landscape
- Work closely with the founders of the business
- Take ownership of research rather than simply executing instructions
- Develop broader commercial and client-facing skills as you progress

This is a small, female-led business with a bright, collaborative and down-to-earth team. There are no big-company layers or egos. You'll have direct access to the people running the business, strong mentoring and the freedom to develop your own expertise and way of working.
