Research Associate / Executive Search Researcher | London
c£50,000 + Bonus
Location: London / Hybrid Working
Are you naturally curious, highly organised, and passionate about finding exceptional senior talent? We’re looking for a Research Associate / Executive Search Researcher to join our team and play a key role in delivering retained executive search mandates for some of the world’s leading organisations. This is a candidate and client-focused role. You’ll work closely with experienced consultants, supporting searches from initial briefing through to candidate identification, engagement, and delivery.
What you’ll be doing:
- Research, map, and identify high-quality senior candidates for retained search assignments
- Develop and execute effective candidate sourcing strategies across LinkedIn, online research, alumni networks, industry groups, conferences, and other relevant channels
- Engage senior-level candidates through tailored approaches, calls, and relationship building
- Build and maintain accurate candidate and market intelligence
- Develop strong market insights throughout each search and produce high-quality supporting documentation
- Support consultants during client briefings and the initial search/pitch process
- Project manage searches to agreed timescales and ensure excellent delivery
- Prepare candidate information packs and progress reports
- Build long-term relationships with candidates and expand your professional network
- Work collaboratively with consultants and the wider research team to deliver outstanding results

What we’re looking for:
You’ll thrive in this role if you have:
- A genuine passion for research, analysis, and delivering high-quality results
- Executive Search Research experience in the Charities, Government, and Social Purpose Organisations
- Excellent organisational skills and outstanding attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively to deadlines
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the confidence to take initiative
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to build rapport quickly and communicate professionally with people at all levels
- Strong data management and research skills
- The ability to learn new markets and subject matter quickly
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Confidence using LinkedIn and other digital research/sourcing channels
