We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant at Associate/ Assistant Manager level to join a growing Transaction Services team specialising in mid-market transactions, typically ranging from £15m to £100m.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone from an accounting practice with advisory experience, who is looking to build their career in Financial Due Diligence (FDD) and work on a varied portfolio of transactions alongside an experienced team.
The Role
As a Transaction Services Assistant Manager, you will advise corporate and private equity clients throughout the transaction lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include:
- Undertaking financial due diligence on acquisitions and disposals
- Analysing historical financial performance, profitability and cash flow
- Reviewing quality of earnings, working capital and net debt
- Identifying key financial risks and opportunities within a target business
- Preparing detailed due diligence reports and presenting findings to clients
- Working closely with management teams, investors and other advisers
- Managing multiple transactions and developing strong client relationships

About You
We are looking for a recently qualified ACA, ACCA or equivalent accountant who:
- Has previous experience within an accounting practice
- Has some advisory experience, ideally within Transaction Services, Deals or Corporate Finance
- Has experience working with mid-market clients and transactions
- Is keen to develop their career specifically within Financial Due Diligence
- Is commercially minded, analytical and confident working directly with clients
