Exhibition Designer, 3D & Experiential
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 DOE
Location: London, hybrid, 3 days in studio
Contract: Permanent, with potential to start freelance
I'm working with a forward thinking, highly ambitious independent exhibition stand design and brand experience agency looking for a talented Exhibition Designer to join their London team.
We're looking for a designer with strong exhibition experience and a genuinely design-led, experiential portfolio. Creative quality is really important here. This isn't about straightforward system stands, but creating considered, engaging branded environments with a strong spatial and visual idea behind them.
You'll work across exhibitions, trade shows, events and experiential spaces, taking projects from initial concept and visualisation through to something that actually gets built.

The Role
- Develop 3D concepts and spatial designs for exhibitions and experiential environments
- Turn client briefs and brand guidelines into creative physical experiences
- Take designs from initial concept through to final visualisation
- Produce high-quality renders, mood boards and presentation materials
- Create technical drawings and simple construction packs
- Work with project and production teams to ensure designs are achievable and buildable
- Consider materials, finishes and structural elements throughout the design process
- Develop concepts in response to client and production feedback
- Take ownership of projects while collaborating with the wider creative team
About You
- Strong portfolio of design-led exhibition and experiential work
- Solid exhibition design experience, rather than predominantly system stand design
- Excellent 3D design and visualisation skills
- High-quality rendering and a strong eye for space, composition, materials and branding
- Experience taking creative concepts through to resolved physical environments
- Good understanding of fabrication and construction
- Ability to produce basic technical drawings or build packs
- Strong Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills
- Collaborative, proactive and highly detail-oriented

The Setup
The role offers hybrid working, with 3 days per week in London. Ideally, they're keen to find someone open to starting on a freelance basis, with the potential to move permanent, although this isn't essential.
