Role Description

The role involves assembling and installing custom and modular exhibition stands, carrying out dismantling and site clearance after events, and performing on-site adjustments and basic repairs as needed.

The Exhibition Stand Builder will handle materials and equipment safely, support transport and logistics coordination, and ensure all tasks comply with health and safety standards.

Day-to-day work includes reading and interpreting stand plans, collaborating with project managers and other subcontractors, and maintaining a clean and organised work area.

  • Practical skills in exhibition stand construction, carpentry or joinery, and use of hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read technical drawings, measure accurately, and follow installation plans and specifications.
  • Strong awareness of health and safety practices, including safe manual handling and on-site compliance.
  • Reliable teamwork and communication skills for coordinating with contractors, clients, and colleagues.
  • Good time management, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail in fast-paced environments.
  • Previous experience in exhibition build, events construction, shopfitting, or related trades is beneficial.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including early starts, evenings, and occasional weekends as projects require.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to venues across the UK and Europe is an advantage.
