Your role
As our UK Expansion Lead, you will drive the growth of Fastned and contribute to our mission: 'Giving freedom to the Electric Driver". New locations are the main goal for you and the team. You will oversee and lead key real estate transactions and negotiations, embodying Fastned’s vision and mission.
- Help the team structure and streamline processes as much as possible to maximise effectiveness & efficiency.
- In this role you must be highly proficient in dealing with financial and techno-economic topics (together with our subject experts), you will own the business case and will know your part when managing your team in negotiations.
- You have a keen eye for market developments and you know when to take advantage of the right opportunities. This includes monitoring policy development and understanding its impact on our development plans.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
