Our Scotland Brand Homes bring our iconic whisky brands to life through immersive storytelling, premium hospitality and unforgettable visitor experiences.
The Johnnie Walker Experience is our global flagship destination, welcoming guests from around the world to discover the story, craft and innovation behind one of Scotland's most famous brands.
About The Team
Our Experience team creates memorable moments for every visitor through engaging tours, tastings and personalised experiences. Together, we combine storytelling, hospitality and whisky expertise to inspire guests and showcase the very best of Scotland.
About The Role
As an Experience Ambassador, you'll welcome visitors from around the world and guide them on an unforgettable whisky journey. Through immersive tours, tastings and exceptional service, you'll bring the Johnnie Walker story to life while creating personalised experiences that leave lasting memories.
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging guided tours and whisky tastings that bring the Johnnie Walker story and Scotch whisky to life.
- Welcome guests, provide admissions, ticketing and visitor information while creating a warm and memorable first impression.
- Build personalised visitor experiences by understanding customer interests and recommending tailored experiences across our Scotland Brand Homes.
- Act as a passionate brand ambassador, confidently sharing whisky knowledge, brand heritage and responsible drinking messages.
- Support special events, retail experiences and wider visitor operations while maintaining exceptional service standards.
- Continuously develop your whisky knowledge, presentation skills and understanding of visitor experience best practice.

Experience / Skills Required
This could be the right opportunity for you if you have:
- Experience in hospitality, tourism, retail or another customer-facing environment.
- Excellent presentation, storytelling and communication skills with the confidence to engage both individuals and larger groups.
- A customer-first mindset and genuine passion for creating memorable experiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt your communication style to different audiences.
- A collaborative approach and flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
Knowledge of Scotch whisky or visitor attractions is beneficial but not essential—our training programme will give you the knowledge and confidence to become a true Johnnie Walker ambassador. Additional language skills are also welcomed.
