Salary: £70,000 + EMI Share Options

The Role
The Experience Director is responsible for curating exceptional cinematic dining experiences.
As the senior leader responsible for the company's creative product, this role brings together creativity, operations, food, storytelling and guest experience to ensure every Taste Film event is cohesive, commercially viable and unmistakably Taste Film.
Working closely with the Founder & CEO, the Experience Director acts as the guardian of the company's experience standards, leading cross-functional teams to deliver experiences that exceed guest expectations whilst protecting the creativity, quality and reputation of the Taste Film brand.
This role is both highly strategic and hands-on. It requires someone who is equally comfortable shaping long-term creative direction, challenging ideas constructively and making practical decisions that keep projects moving.
Key Responsibilities
Experience Leadership
- Lead the development and delivery of every Taste Film experience from concept through to execution.
- Maintain consistency across all experiences.
- Champion innovation and continual improvement.
- Ensure storytelling, food, production and design work together as one cohesive experience.
- Ensure every guest interaction reflects the Company's values and standards.

Cross Functional Leadership
- Lead creative, operations and culinary teams.
- Ensure departments collaborate effectively rather than operating in isolation.
- Resolve competing priorities and remove barriers to delivery.
- Balance creative ambition with operational reality.
Operational Excellence
- Ensure projects remain on schedule, within budget and aligned with agreed objectives.
- Anticipate risks before they become problems.
- Build scalable systems that enable consistent delivery as the business grows.

- Teams proactively solve problems before they reach the Founder & CEO.
- The Founder & CEO can confidently step away from individual projects knowing Taste Film's standards will be maintained.
- The Company's experiences continue to evolve whilst remaining true to the Taste Film brand.
About You
You’re obsessed with immersion and instinctively see the connections between story, food, environment, service and the guest journey, bringing them together to make guests feel closer to the films, characters and stories they love. You’re constantly asking how something could feel more immersive, more meaningful and more memorable. You combine creative instinct with operational intelligence, bringing creative, culinary and operations together to turn ambitious ideas into exceptional, deliverable experiences.

You are an exceptional leader. You successfully connect ideas, people and disciplines, bringing together creativity, operations and storytelling into one coherent vision. You are as comfortable discussing menu development with chefs as you are reviewing production schedules, refining guest journeys or challenging creative concepts.
Essential Experience
- Senior leadership experience in immersive hospitality, live events, themed attractions or experiential marketing.
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong understanding of guest experience design.
- Experience balancing creative ambition with commercial and operational realities.
- A track record of delivering complex, high-quality experiences.
The Experience Director is not responsible for...
- Defining the Company's long-term strategic direction.
- Setting the overall vision of the business.
- Leading commercial sales or partnership negotiations.
- Financial governance of the Company.
Instead, they are responsible for ensuring that every Taste Film experience reflects the Company's vision and quality standards, whilst giving the Founder & CEO the confidence to focus on the future of the business.
