Experienced 1:1 SEN ASD – Twickenham – September
Are you an Experienced 1:1 SEN ASD professional looking for a rewarding opportunity in Twickenham? This well-established independent preparatory school provides an outstanding education for around 400 pupils from Nursery to Year 8, combining academic excellence with exceptional pastoral care. With a strong Learning Enrichment department supporting approximately 75 pupils with SEND, including a small number with EHCPs, this is an excellent opportunity to make a genuine difference within a nurturing environment.

Responsibilities
- Join an inclusive school in Twickenham renowned for its outstanding pastoral care and broad co-curricular programme.
- Work alongside experienced teachers, Learning Enrichment Specialists and the SEN team.
- Access excellent CPD and ongoing professional development.
- Support a pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder through tailored interventions and personalised learning strategies.
- Build strong relationships with parents, teachers and external professionals to ensure consistent support.
- Adapt learning resources and classroom activities to meet individual needs.
- Promote communication, emotional regulation, independence and positive social interaction.

Requirements
- Experienced 1:1 SEN ASD applicants should have previous experience supporting pupils with ASD on a 1:1 basis.
- Experienced 1:1 SEN ASD candidates should demonstrate excellent behaviour management, patience and resilience.
- Knowledge of EHCP targets, autism-friendly strategies and sensory regulation is highly desirable.
- A calm, proactive and nurturing approach is essential for this Experienced 1:1 SEN ASD position.
