Experienced Administrator
Mortgage Administration | Alcester, Warwickshire | £25,000–£28,000 per annum | Full-Time, Permanent
About Us
Christopher Allen Private Clients Ltd (CAPC) is a growing mortgage brokerage committed to helping clients secure the right mortgage through clear guidance, reliable service, and regular communication. We are looking for an experienced administrator to join our friendly support team and help keep our advisers and client cases running smoothly.
About the Role
You will provide efficient, accurate administrative support, manage a varied workload, and help progress mortgage applications from submission through to completion. Previous mortgage administration or financial services experience would be ideal, but it is not essential. We are equally interested in an experienced administrator who is organised, confident, customer-focused, and able to learn new processes and systems quickly.
Key Responsibilities
- Process mortgage applications accurately and submit them to lenders on time.
- Collect and check supporting documentation, including identification, income, property, and affordability evidence.
- Track cases through valuation, underwriting, offer, and completion, chasing outstanding information where needed.
- Manage a pipeline of cases and flag potential issues or delays at an early stage.
- Liaise professionally with clients, advisers, lenders, solicitors, estate agents, and other third parties.
- Provide clients with regular updates and a high standard of customer service throughout their mortgage journey.
- Maintain accurate case records and update CRM and back-office systems.
- Support compliance requirements, file checks, and audit readiness.
- Respond to queries promptly and help resolve issues efficiently.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
