About the Role

Kontora Ltd are looking for an Experienced Aluminium Window & Door Factory Manager to join our growing business and take responsibility for the day-to-day management of our manufacturing operation. Following our recent relocation to a larger facility as part of our expansion, we are continuing to develop our production capabilities and are looking for an experienced Factory Manager to play a key role in this next stage of growth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the factory, ensuring production runs efficiently, orders are completed accurately and on time, and our high standards of quality and workmanship are consistently maintained.

Based in Elmswell IP30, Suffolk, Kontora Ltd specialises in the manufacture of high-quality aluminium windows, doors and glazing systems for residential and commercial projects. We take pride in delivering exceptional products while maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship, reliability and customer service.

Job Description

This is a full-time, hands-on management role, ideal for someone with previous experience in the window, door, glazing or aluminium manufacturing industry. You will take responsibility for overseeing the production team and day-to-day factory operations, helping to drive efficiency, maintain quality, and strengthen and develop the production team as the business continues to grow.

Requirements

  • Previous management or supervisory experience within the window, door, glazing or aluminium industry preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and aluminium window and door systems.
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate a production team.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage production priorities, solve problems and work under pressure.
  • Willingness to learn and develop knowledge of new products and systems.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to use your own initiative.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, safety and workmanship.
