Job Opening: Qualified Tutors

EduEmp UK is expanding its network of high-quality educators and is seeking qualified, experienced and adaptable tutors to support students across a range of academic programmes and examination boards.

We are particularly interested in tutors who are passionate about helping students achieve their academic potential and who can adapt their teaching to different curricula, examination requirements and individual learning needs.

SUBJECT AREAS

Mathematics Tutors

  • GCSE Mathematics
  • IGCSE Mathematics
  • A Level Mathematics
  • International A Level Mathematics Experience across different examination boards is highly desirable.

English Language Tutors

  • GCSE English Language
  • IGCSE English Language
  • A Level English Language
  • International A Level English Language Tutors should demonstrate strong subject knowledge and an understanding of examination requirements.

Science Tutors

  • GCSE Science
  • IGCSE Science
  • A Level Sciences
  • International A Level Sciences Tutors able to deliver Triple Science – Biology, Chemistry and Physics are particularly encouraged to apply. Experience across multiple examination boards is highly desirable.

Design & Technology Tutors

  • GCSE Design & Technology
  • IGCSE Design & Technology
  • A Level Design & Technology
  • International A Level Design & Technology Strong practical and theoretical subject knowledge is required.

EXAMINATION BOARDS

Tutors should be flexible and adaptable and comfortable working across different examination boards and specifications. Experience with the following is particularly desirable:

  • Pearson Edexcel
  • Pearson Edexcel International A Level
  • Cambridge International
  • Cambridge International AS & A Level
  • GCSE and IGCSE programmes
  • Other recognised UK and international examination boards

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Applicants should:

  • Hold a recognised teaching qualification and have relevant subject expertise.
  • Have substantial experience teaching the relevant subject.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of current curriculum and examination requirements.
  • Be familiar with current pedagogical approaches and evidence-informed teaching practices.
  • Be able to adapt teaching strategies to different students, abilities and learning needs.
  • Be confident preparing students for examinations and supporting them to maximise their academic potential.
  • Be reliable, professional, well organised and committed to high standards.
  • Be willing to work across different examination boards and specifications.

Teachers currently working in a school or college setting will have an advantage, particularly where they have recent experience delivering the relevant curriculum. However, we also welcome applications from experienced private tutors, former teachers and specialist educators with a strong track record of delivering successful outcomes.

FLEXIBILITY & ADAPTABILITY

Our tutors may work with students following different curricula and examination specifications. Therefore, the ability to quickly understand and adapt to a new specification, assessment framework or examination board is essential. We are looking for educators who can bring both subject expertise and excellent teaching practice to every tutoring engagement.
