Experienced Architectural Technologist

Location: Preston

Salary: GBP40,45,000

An award-winning and established multi-disciplinary construction and design consultancy is seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join its growing team in Preston. The practice has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across the UK within sectors including healthcare, education, commercial, residential, sports and leisure, and heritage.

Daily Duties For The Architectural Technologist Role

  • Producing technical drawings in Revit and AutoCAD
  • Preparing detailed construction information
  • Developing designs through all project stages
  • Preparing planning and Building Regulations information
  • Coordinating with clients and project consultants
  • Supporting BIM coordination and project delivery
  • Attending meetings and site visits
  • Resolving technical and construction issues

The Ideal Architectural Technologist Will Have

  • Experience as an Architectural Technician or Technologist
  • Relevant UK construction industry experience
  • Qualification in Architectural Technology or similar
  • Strong Revit and AutoCAD skills
  • Experience working within a BIM environment
  • Good knowledge of UK Building Regulations
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • CIAT accreditation or willingness to work towards it
