Role Description
This is an on-site position for Experienced Bench and Site Joiners based in Bamford. The role involves manufacturing joinery components in the workshop, including cutting, assembling, and finishing items for exhibitions, events, and museum installations. On-site duties include installing structures, fittings, and displays, ensuring all elements are securely fixed and finished to a high standard. Daily tasks also include reading and interpreting technical drawings, selecting appropriate materials, and using hand and power tools safely and efficiently. The joiners work closely with project managers, designers, and other team members to meet deadlines and maintain quality, while adhering to health and safety requirements on-site and in the workshop.

- Strong joinery and carpentry skills, with experience in bench work and site installation.
- Proficient in safe and effective use of hand tools and power tools.
- Experience in framing and structural assembly for exhibitions or similar environments.
- Competence in finish carpentry, including precise fitting and high-quality finishing.
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings and specifications.
- Previous experience in exhibition, events, museum, or shopfitting joinery is beneficial.
- Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety.
- Reliable, able to work both independently and as part of a team, with flexible availability for project needs.
- Flexibility and the willingness to work weekends, long hours, travel and work away when required is essential, dependant on work schedules.
- Relevant trade qualification or apprenticeship in carpentry/joinery preferred.
