Wellington Cars of Wokingham is looking for a dedicated and experienced Operator & Dispatcher to join our growing team at our Rawalpindi, Pakistan office. You will be a key point of contact for our UK customers, handling inbound calls, processing bookings, and coordinating closely with our drivers to ensure a smooth, reliable, and professional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer inbound telephone calls and accurately process customer booking requests.
• Dispatch jobs efficiently to available drivers and monitor trip progress.
• Coordinate with drivers to ensure bookings are completed smoothly and on time.
• Respond to customer enquiries and resolve complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain accurate communication and booking logs throughout your shift.
• Manage multiple bookings and tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with both customers and drivers.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience as a dispatcher, operator, controller, or customer service professional.
• Preferably, experience within the taxi, private hire, transport, or logistics industry.
• Excellent spoken English and strong communication skills.
• Experience using dispatch, booking, scheduling, or transport management software.
• The ability to remain calm, organised, and professional under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
• A reliable, responsible, and professional approach to work.
