Location: Cambridgeshire, Norfolk & surrounding areas
Position: Full-time
Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience

About Us

We’re looking for an experienced Carpenter & Joiner to join the NGR Carpentry & Bespoke Joinery team. We’re based around Cambridgeshire and work across Cambridge, Wisbech, King’s Lynn, Norfolk, and the surrounding areas.

We take on a range of work, from high-end renovations and barn conversions to bespoke furniture, joinery, and structural timber work. No two jobs are quite the same, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys variety and takes pride in doing a good job.

What You'll Be Doing

The role will involve site work:

  • Making bespoke doors, windows, cabinetry, and other timber work.
  • First and second fix carpentry.
  • Bespoke joinery and furniture.
  • Timber framing and structural work.
  • Working from drawings and measurements.
  • Installing finished work on site.
  • Working alongside the team and also being comfortable working on your own when needed.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
