Carpenter
We are looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our busy passive fire protection team.
The ideal applicant will be someone who has experience in fire door maintenance and installation as well as associated fire rated separation and compartmentalization work.
This is a full-time role, working closely together with our existing team of technicians from our Reading premises covering London and the South East.
The salary range on offer is £28k to £36k, which is negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
We can offer 22 days paid holiday per annum plus public holidays and an additional 3 days between Christmas and New Year. A company van, mobile phone, uniform, and tools to complete the work will be provided. A company pension scheme is in operation and a private healthcare scheme is also available.

Job-related training would be provided as well as BMTRADA passive fire protection scheme certification.
Our standard hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm with appropriate breaks during the day.
Duties and responsibilities to include day-to-day maintenance and installation of fire doors, carrying out passive fire protection works such as fire stopping gaps and holes in fire-rated walls and ceilings.

Suitable applicants will:
- Have NVQ 2 or 3 carpentry by a recognized training body
- Have other relevant third-party qualifications / registration to FIRAS / BMTRADA or equivalent fire door schemes
- Be able to demonstrate recent relevant experience
- Live within Berkshire or surrounding area
- Hold a full clean UK / EU driving license
- Be self-motivated
- Be able to work alone or as part of a team
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Have good time management
