Description
Impact Recruitment are recruiting for an Experienced CNC Miller Machinist to join our client, a well-established precision engineering company based in Rugby.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC Miller looking for a new challenge within a growing business that specialises in high-value and technically demanding CNC milling and turning applications.
The company supplies components to a wide range of industries including Aerospace, Automotive, Oil & Gas and General Engineering, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to work on varied and technically interesting projects.
- Salary: £17.79phr - £18.75phr
- Hours: Mon - Thurs 7:30am - 4:45pm Fri 7:30am-12pm
- Employment: Permanent
What You'll Be Doing
- Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines.
- Working with Fanuc controls
- Carrying out online programming and making programme adjustments where required.
- Working with 4-axis milling.
- Setting machines, tooling and workholding to produce precision components.
- Reading and working from engineering drawings.
- Ensuring components are manufactured accurately and to specification.
- Carrying out quality checks throughout the machining process.
- Troubleshooting machining issues and making adjustments where necessary.
- Working independently and using your own initiative to complete jobs efficiently.

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a CNC Miller / CNC Milling Machinist.
- A Time Served Machinist with experience in CNC milling.
- Strong CNC machine tool background.
- Experience with Fanuc controls.
- Previous experience with 4-axis milling.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a practical, hands-on approach.
- Organised with the ability to work efficiently and independently.
- Good communication skills.
