Role description: RW Coldstore Construction is looking for an experienced self-employed Composite Panel Installer to join our installation team, with an immediate start available.
- Working as part of an installation team on varied projects across the UK, ranging from 1-day jobs through to large-scale coldstore, temperature-controlled, and specialist installations.
- The role involves installing insulated composite panels for cold stores, firewalls, clean rooms, and related structures in line with project specifications and industry standards.
- Day-to-day tasks include measuring and setting out, cutting and fitting panels, installing doors, windows, ancillaries, and associated cladding systems, and ensuring accurate sealing and finishing for thermal and fire performance.
- The installer will work as part of a site team, follow all health and safety procedures, use appropriate tools and equipment, and maintain a clean and organised work area.
- The role also includes reading and interpreting technical drawings, collaborating with supervisors and project managers, and completing work to high-quality standards within agreed timelines.

What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in installing composite insulated panels and associated systems for cold stores, firewalls, clean rooms, or similar controlled environments.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications, with strong measuring, setting out, and basic numeracy skills.
- Proficient in the safe use of hand tools and power tools (e.g., saws, drills, fixings systems) and familiar with working at height and manual handling.
- Solid understanding of health and safety practices on construction sites, including adherence to method statements, risk assessments, and PPE requirements.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with site supervisors, contractors, and clients.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship, including accurate fitting, sealing, and finishing of panels and ancillaries.
- Previous experience in coldstore construction, industrial cladding, or similar specialist construction fields is highly beneficial.
- Relevant construction or trade qualification, CSCS card, and a valid driving licence are essential.
- Willing to work away from home when required.
- Ideally based in or around the Grantham, Lincolnshire area.
