Hutchins Law is a forward-thinking, multi-disciplinary national law firm with offices in the heart of London. We are known for our excellence in property law, delivering exceptional service and practical advice to clients ranging from first-time buyers to large-scale investors and developers.
Due to continued growth in our team, we are seeking an Experienced Conveyancing Solicitor to join us. This is a full-time, office-based role in London, offering the opportunity to work alongside skilled solicitors and conveyancers in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our conveyancing team, managing a caseload of residential property transactions under supervision. You will handle all aspects of the conveyancing process, ensuring a seamless and efficient service to our clients.
This position is ideal for someone with prior conveyancing experience who thrives in a fast-paced, professional environment and enjoys working closely with clients and colleagues in person.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to post-completion.
- Draft and review contracts, transfer deeds, completion statements, and other conveyancing documentation.
- Conduct title checks, Land Registry searches, and deal with pre- and post-completion matters.
- Liaise directly with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors.
- Prepare reports on title and mortgage documents.
- Handle exchange and completion procedures accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain up-to-date and compliant case records using the firm’s case management system.
- Deliver a high level of client care, ensuring consistent communication and professional service.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Prior experience in residential conveyancing within a law firm.
- Proven ability to manage a substantial conveyancing caseload with supervision.
- Strong understanding of freehold, leasehold, remortgage, and transfer of equity transactions.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confident communicator with a client-focused attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines in a busy office environment.
