Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Experienced Dental Treatment Coordinator role based in Halesowen. The Treatment Coordinator will guide patients through their treatment journey, including discussing recommended treatment plans, options, timelines, and costs in a clear and reassuring manner.

- Coordinating appointments
- Ensuring accurate documentation
- Liaising with clinicians, reception, and nursing staff to keep treatment schedules on track
- Verifying insurance details
- Explaining coverage and payment options
- Helping patients understand consent forms and clinical information

Additional Responsibilities
- Providing high-quality customer service
- Responding to patient inquiries by phone, email, and in person
- Supporting the practice in achieving excellent patient satisfaction and efficient workflow
Working Hours
The role is Monday - Friday, 9 - 5 pm. You will be required to work a late night on a Tuesday and Saturday. These are on a rota basis and average one every or every other month.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Treatment Planning and the ability to explain treatment options, timelines, and fees clearly and accurately.
- Experience handling Insurance processes, including verification, claims coordination, and explaining coverage to patients.
- Excellent Customer Service abilities focused on empathy, patience, and delivering a positive patient experience.
- Effective Communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse patients and colleagues.
- Understanding of Dental Care procedures and terminology, with prior experience in a dental or healthcare setting preferred.
- High level of organisation and attention to detail, with proficiency in practice management or scheduling software.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a clinical team, manage multiple tasks, and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
- GDC Registered or Relevant dental or healthcare administration qualification, or equivalent experience; additional training in treatment coordination is an advantage.
- Experience in Social media and dental awards entries.
