Company Description

Clearway Environmental Services Ltd is a specialist drainage company with over 40 years of experience and a strong reputation for high-quality workmanship. The team provides professional services such as CCTV drainage reports, UV drain relining, and Jet Vac tanker support, available 24/7. Using advanced equipment, Clearway often resolves blocked drains and drainage issues without disruptive excavation. The company works closely with clients and insurance providers to deliver compliant repairs, advice, and support. Clearway is a fully licensed carrier for a wide range of liquid wastes, ensuring safe, clean, and efficient removal and disposal for business customers.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Experienced Drainage Salesperson based in Stockton on Tees, out of our new depot. The role involves generating new business and managing existing accounts for drainage and liquid waste services, including CCTV reporting, UV relining, and tanker operations.

The Experienced Drainage Salesperson will:

  • Assess customer needs

  • Follow up to secure sales

Day-to-day tasks include:

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with commercial clients
  • Liaising with operational teams to schedule work
  • Providing clear explanations of services and solutions

The role also requires:

  • Maintaining accurate records in CRM or sales systems
  • Meeting sales targets
  • Representing Clearway professionally at all times

Qualifications

  • Proven sales experience in drainage, environmental services, or a related construction/industrial sector, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Strong customer relationship skills, including client-facing communication, negotiation, and the ability to provide clear technical explanations in accessible language.
  • Good understanding of drainage systems, liquid waste management, and related services (e.g., CCTV surveys, relining, tanker operations), or willingness to learn quickly.
  • Competence with basic IT tools and CRM or sales management software for quoting, reporting, and maintaining customer records.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple opportunities in a fast-paced, field-based environment.
  • Valid driving license suitable for travel within the Kingston upon Hull area and surrounding regions.
  • Comfort working on customer sites and collaborating with operational teams, with a strong focus on safety and compliance.
  • Relevant vocational or industry qualifications in sales, drainage, environmental services, or a related field are beneficial but not mandatory.
