This new, young organization offers applied economics training designed to help students gain a practical understanding of how economists work across consulting firms, government departments, central banks, think tanks, and policy institutions. The courses emphasize real-world case studies, hands-on analytical tools, and practical applications, covering topics like competition economics, macroeconomic forecasting, and public policy evaluation.

Role Description
This is a remote contract role for a Policy evaluation and impact assessment Economist. The role involves working with the founder to create case studies based on the person's experience. These case studies will be taught to students on the weekends when the course programmes are organized. The time commitment will be around 2 hours per day over a course period of 4-6 days.
PLEASE APPLY IF YOU HAVE DIRECT EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH THE GREEN BOOK AND ITS ASSOCIATED IMPACT ASSESSMENTS
Preference for applicants who have worked in Department of Transport, OFGEM or other civil services with heavy experience in policy impact assessments.

Qualifications
- Extensive experience in one of the following fields, health, labour, education and/or transport. (min 4 years experience)
- Knowledge of the common methodologies undertaken in public policy evaluation. Such as cost-benefit analysis, Green Book, Magenta Book methods and impact assessments.
- Enthusiastic and collaborative attitude
- Passionate about showcasing own experience and enlightening students.
- Easily reachable and responsive when contacted by the Founder
