Company Description
Frontline Electrical (London) Ltd provides reliable and trustworthy electrical services across domestic and commercial settings. The company manages projects of all sizes, from installing a single socket to designing, installing, testing, and commissioning full electrical systems for commercial new builds. Frontline Electrical is registered with NICEIC and TrustMark, and all work is completed in accordance with approved document Part P of the building regulations. Operating throughout London and the home counties, the team focuses on high-quality workmanship and comprehensive customer support, including free advice, quotations, and tender packages. Services include adapting and extending electrical systems, upgrading fuse boards and circuit breakers, and designing and installing internal and external lighting systems.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Experienced Electrician role based in Epsom. The Experienced Electrician will carry out domestic and commercial electrical installations, modifications, and maintenance, including circuit upgrades, fuse board changes, lighting installations, and fault finding. The role involves reading and interpreting electrical plans, assisting with design and installation work, and ensuring all projects comply with current building regulations and relevant standards.

Day-to-day tasks include:
- Testing and commissioning electrical systems
- Completing accurate documentation and certificates
- Liaising with clients to provide clear explanations of work, timelines, and safety considerations

The Experienced Electrician will also:
- Support project planning
- Collaborate with colleagues and contractors on site
- Maintain a safe, organized working environment
Qualifications
- Strong practical skills in domestic and commercial electrical installation, maintenance, and fault finding.
- Experience with testing, inspection, and commissioning of electrical systems, including completion of relevant certification.
- Familiarity with building regulations and electrical standards (e.g., Part P, BS 7671), and ability to work to compliance requirements.
- Competence in interpreting electrical drawings, plans, and specifications, and contributing to design and layout decisions.
- Good communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly and provide professional advice.
- Ability to work safely on site, manage own workload, and collaborate effectively with other trades and team members.
- Recognized electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) and relevant industry accreditations; ECS/CSCS and 18th Edition certification are highly beneficial.
- Previous experience with both domestic and commercial projects in the London or home counties area is an advantage.
