Sabre Stone is looking for an experienced Stone Fabricator / Mason to join our busy and growing team.
We specialise in the fabrication and installation of high-quality marble, granite, quartz and porcelain, and are looking for someone with proven experience in stone fabrication who takes real pride in their workmanship.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established, busy team with a consistent workload and opportunities for overtime.
The Role
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Fabricating marble, granite, quartz and porcelain
- Cutting, shaping, polishing and finishing stone to a high standard
- Producing worktops and other bespoke stone products
- Working accurately from drawings, measurements and specifications
- Using workshop machinery and fabrication equipment
- Achieving high-quality joins, edges and finishes
- Working efficiently while maintaining excellent attention to detail
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Following all company health & safety procedures

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous professional experience in stone fabrication
- Has experience working with marble, granite, quartz and/or porcelain
- Has a strong eye for detail and takes pride in their finished work
- Can work accurately to measurements and specifications
- Has good practical and problem-solving skills
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Is reliable, hardworking and punctual
- Has a strong understanding of workshop health & safety
Experience with CNC machinery, polishing, mitre work, cut-outs, templating or specialist stone fabrication would be an advantage.

Transport
Applicants must have reliable transport to and from the workplace. Due to our location and early start time, access to reliable transport is essential.
Trial / Probationary Period
The successful candidate will initially undertake a one-month trial/probationary period to ensure the position is the right fit for both the candidate and Sabre Stone.
