Put your frame assembly experience to work with a leading UK manufacturer

We’re looking for an Experienced Frame Assembler to join our established Frame Department at Lebus Upholstery. This is a permanent opportunity for someone with proven frame‑building experience who takes pride in high‑quality workmanship and wants stable employment with a respected, employee‑owned business.

All Lebus sofa frames are handmade on site, forming the foundation of the sofas and chairs that move through our factory to become finished furniture. Your expertise will directly impact the strength, longevity, and quality of our products.

What you’ll be doing

As an experienced member of the Frame Assembly team, you’ll:

  • Assemble wooden sofa and furniture frames using a range of materials
  • Use hand tools and air‑powered tools (including staple guns), alongside adhesives, to produce strong, durable frame structures
  • Carry out lifting and manoeuvring of completed frames
  • Follow detailed assembly instructions and technical specifications
  • Inspect components for defects or damage and report issues promptly
  • Meet production targets while maintaining high quality standards
  • Carry out routine checks on tools and equipment, reporting faults where required
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow and timely handover to upholstery teams
  • Take part in ongoing training and skills development as required
  • Support continuous improvement by suggesting efficiencies or quality enhancements

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
