This part-time, on-site Experienced Gardener role is based in Bath and involves hands-on work in private gardens and designed landscapes. Day-to-day tasks include general gardening such as planting, pruning, weeding, mulching, and lawn care, ensuring gardens are healthy and well-presented throughout the year. The Experienced Gardener works closely with the team, follows health and safety guidelines, interacts respectfully with clients on-site, and maintains tools and equipment in good condition.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong practical Gardening and Landscape Maintenance skills, with experience caring for a variety of plants and garden features.
  • Candidates should possess basic Irrigation knowledge, including understanding watering needs and monitoring irrigation systems or manual watering routines.
  • Candidates should have good physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and handle manual tasks safely.
  • Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, time management, and reliability, with the ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
  • Relevant horticultural training or a qualification in gardening, landscaping, or horticulture is beneficial, along with prior experience in professional garden maintenance.
