Oak & Blossom Education is a growing tuition company providing high-quality, personalised tuition to students in the UK and internationally.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for experienced and enthusiastic teachers to join our carefully selected team of tutors.
We are currently recruiting teachers specialising in:
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Business Studies
- Economics
- Maths
We are particularly interested in hearing from experienced classroom teachers who can provide high-quality GCSE and A-level tuition and combine excellent subject knowledge with a warm, supportive and personalised approach.
We are looking for teachers who:
- Are qualified teachers with strong secondary classroom experience
- Have experience teaching their specialist subject at GCSE and/or A-level
- Have a strong understanding of UK curricula and examination requirements
- Can explain challenging concepts clearly and confidently
- Can adapt their teaching to individual students' needs and learning styles
- Are reliable, professional and excellent communicators
- Are confident delivering high-quality online tuition
- Hold an Enhanced DBS and have appropriate safeguarding training
- Have examiner or other exam-board experience — desirable, but not essential

About the role
Tuition is primarily online and one-to-one, with tutors matched carefully to students according to subject, level, individual needs and availability.
Tutors work with Oak & Blossom Education on a self-employed basis and can choose the students and hours that suit their availability. There is no guaranteed minimum number of teaching hours.
The rate is £35–£45 per hour, depending on experience.
Tutors will also be expected to provide a short, free introductory meeting with prospective students and parents before tuition begins and complete a brief lesson report following each lesson.
