About You

This role would suit an experienced and knowledgeable Consultant who is able to rely on their expertise from day 1, who will also provide Line Manager support to 1 other Consultant. Full training on our processes and approach will be given, and ongoing peer support will always be available.
About the Vacancy
This busy and varied role means you will visit clients around the UK across many sectors, provide general advice and support, complete audits and inspections, deliver training, and give legal guidance. You will conduct fire risk assessments ensuring this is based on applicable, most up-to-date legislation and guidance, and you will be responsible for managing your own workload and diary, building excellent relationships, and ensuring Clients receive a 1st-class service.

You will be field-based, travelling UK-wide, also attending the modern, light, and airy office in the center of Tamworth for office days. Some nights out are required for this role on a regular basis, and there is potentially travel further afield to Europe.
In addition, you will be welcomed to contribute your own ideas to the growth of the company and be involved in the decisions made, and be able to contribute to which path your career progresses down in relation to Health & Safety, Fire, Environmental, Training, and Compliance.

Chameleon Consultancy is a team of 6 and nearly 6 years old. We operate nationally but also further afield when arising. Operating in Health, Safety, Fire, and Environmental Consultancy and Training and serving a vast array of different sectors across retail, construction, manufacturing, fabrication, clerical, waste & recycling, and more. At the heart of its values is a service that is second to none, whereby Clients are listened to and worked with to achieve their goals in an effective, efficient way, delivered with a friendly and helpful attitude. Our Clients and employees are key to our success and the relationships we create. Offering services such as general advice, site & premises inspections, fire risk assessment, documentation and management system auditing and creation, in-person training courses, E-Learning, accreditation support, accident and incident investigation, and a wide range of CDM support including Principal Design, Principal Contractor assistance, mentorship, and training services. We are different, and maintain a great work-life balance, with office days 8:30 am to 4 pm and manage our travel so that it is not excessive.

Role Requirements
Mandatory
- NEBOSH National Certificate or equivalent
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Health and Safety Advisor or Consultant Role
- Good computer skills for Word and Excel
- Excellent organizational and diary management skills
- Excellent communication and relationship skills
- Full driving license
- Fire Risk Assessor Qualification
Additional desirable
The following are not a requirement but would be advantageous:
- Consultancy experience advantageous
- Training qualification & experience
- NEBOSH Construction or equivalent
- Environmental Qualification
