What You'll Do

  • Overall direct support to the Experienced Hiring Recruiting Manager and broader team in the London office (hiring Industry Senior Associate and Consultant hires).
  • Coordinate interview campaigns and individual interviews, working with candidates, interviewers, and the Nexus scheduling team to keep schedules on track.
  • Support Experienced Hire Recruiter with delivery of the Teach First summer internship across attraction, screening, interviews, events and offers.
  • Manage application screening and candidate testing, accurately tracking progress and results.
  • Coordinate interview-day logistics, feedback requests, debrief materials, and candidate communications to support a smooth candidate experience.
  • Deliver post interview feedback calls to candidates in a sensitive and clear, constructive way.
  • Maintain accurate recruiting data across Excel files, ATS and CRM systems, providing information and analysis when needed.
  • Support candidate offers, contracts, conversion activities in partnership with the wider team.
  • Plan, prepare and attend recruiting events across all channels where needed.
  • Manage the general recruiting inbox, responding to emails in a timely, professional manner.
  • Contribute to recruiting projects and process improvements, using AI, candidate feedback and recruiting data to identify practical opportunities to improve ways of working.

You’re good at

  • Able to interact effectively with the team and the recruitment stakeholders, as well as building rapport with the candidates and external agencies.
  • Engaging in conversations with Senior Stakeholders confidentially and concisely.
  • Effective in dealing with large amounts of information, work efficiently under pressure and juggle multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accurate records of recruiting are maintained.
  • This is a busy role requiring an enthusiastic character who is able to conscientiously work to short deadlines with the right level of urgency and professionalism.
  • Being proactive and thinking creatively, taking the initiative to identify opportunities potential roadblocks within the team and improve ways of working.

What You'll Bring

  • Previous office-based experience, ideally involving administration, coordination, or scheduling.
  • A 2:1 degree or equivalent.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Clear, adaptable communication skills and confidence working with candidates and colleagues.
  • Strong attention to detail and a consistent focus on maintaining accurate information.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • An interest in recruiting and willingness to build your knowledge; previous recruitment experience is beneficial but not essential.

Who You'll Work With

You’ll be part of BCG’s London Recruiting team, working closely with the Experienced Hiring Recruiting Manager, Experienced Hire Recruiter, and other colleagues across Recruiting. You’ll collaborate with the Nexus shared service team, the wider HR team, and Consulting colleagues who support our recruiting activities. You’ll also interact regularly with candidates and interviewers, helping create a coordinated and positive recruiting experience.

For this role, you will generally be expected to work from a BCG office or in person with clients on a regular basis (typically around 50% of working time), depending on business needs and in line with local policies and practices.
