Experienced Internal Sales Executive – EBB Board
Location: Coalville, Leicestershire
Hours: Monday to Friday | 9.00am–5.30pm
Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an Experienced Internal Sales Executive to join our Board sales team at our Coalville office.
The Opportunity
This is an important sales role combining excellent day-to-day account support with proactive sales development.
Working closely with the Sales Office Manager and our established internal and external sales teams, you will be responsible for managing customer enquiries, processing orders and quotations, providing product advice, and identifying opportunities to grow sales across both existing and new customers.
We are looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, understands the importance of great customer service, and has the commercial confidence to turn enquiries and opportunities into sales.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Sales & Account Support
You will provide responsive and knowledgeable support to our customers, including:
- Taking and processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Preparing and processing quotations
- Managing sample requests, dummy sheets, and product trials
- Handling customer returns, queries, and complaints professionally
- Advising customers on the most suitable and cost-effective products for their requirements
- Providing knowledgeable product advice and support
- Using your understanding of the EBB Board portfolio to recommend the right solution for each customer
- Working closely with the external sales team to ensure customer requirements are followed through effectively
- Building strong, trusted, and long-term customer relationships

Sales Growth & Development
Alongside managing day-to-day customer requirements, you will take a proactive approach to identifying and developing sales opportunities, including:
- Working collaboratively with the external sales team to develop customers and sales opportunities
- Analysing sales information to identify lost business and areas of potential growth
- Identifying further opportunities within existing customer accounts
- Following quotations through to conclusion
- Following up samples, dummy sheets, and product trials to convert opportunities into sales
- Supporting internal product and category promotions
- Identifying and developing new customer opportunities
- Using your industry and product knowledge to identify potential customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions
- Building a strong pipeline of opportunities and maintaining regular customer contact
About You
We are looking for an experienced, commercially-minded individual who combines strong customer service skills with a proactive approach to sales.
Ideally, you will have:
- Previous experience in an internal sales, account management, or customer-facing sales role
- Experience within the carton board, paper, print, or packaging industry, which would be highly desirable
- Knowledge of board products, grades, and applications would be an advantage, although additional product training will be provided
- Excellent communication and telephone skills
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Good commercial awareness and the confidence to identify sales opportunities
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple customer requirements
- A proactive, positive, and customer-focused approach
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider sales team
