Personal Legal Administrator / Legal Secretary – Private Client
We are looking for an experienced Personal Legal Administrator / Legal Secretary to join our growing Private Client department.
This is an opportunity for someone who sees Personal Legal Administration or Legal Secretarial work as their long-term career. We are looking for a committed, professional individual who wants to become an integral part of the team, providing consistent support as the department continues to grow. This role is not suited to someone looking for a short-term stepping stone into another position.
The Role
You will provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support across a range of Private Client matters, including:

- Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Probate.
- Client onboarding, file management and compliance (including AML).
- Diary management and appointment scheduling.
- Preparing correspondence, legal documents and bills.
- Liaising with clients, beneficiaries and third parties.
- Maintaining accurate records using our case management system.
About You
You will have:
- Previous experience as a Personal Legal Administrator, Legal Secretary or Legal Assistant, ideally within a Private Client department.
- Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong communication and client care skills.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and legal case management systems (LEAP experience is desirable).
- A proactive, reliable and professional approach to your work.
- A genuine desire to build a long-term career in Personal Legal Administration or as a Legal Secretary, becoming a valued and trusted member of the team.
