Bluebird Care – Where passion becomes expertise

Bluebird Care is one of the UK’s leading providers of privately funded care at home.

We’re looking for an experienced Live-in Care Supervisor to join our live-in care team, working across our three franchise territories covering the London Boroughs of Lewisham, Southwark and Bromley, as well as Sevenoaks in Kent.

Reporting to the Live-in Care Manager, this is a varied role where you’ll support our customers and care professionals, helping us provide high-quality live-in care that meets each customer’s individual needs.

Your Role And Responsibilities

As a Live-in Care Supervisor, you will:

  • Respond professionally to new enquiries assigned to you.
  • Carry out assessments with potential new customers to understand their care and support needs.
  • Complete risk assessments and write and review care plans.
  • Monitor the care being provided and make sure it meets the agreed care plan and Bluebird Care policies and procedures.
  • Respond quickly when a customer’s needs change and update their care plan where needed.
  • Report concerns, complaints and training needs to the Registered Manager.
  • Take part in investigations when required and follow through on agreed actions.
  • Support live-in care professionals and provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced team members.
  • Make sure care professionals have the information and guidance they need to provide safe and effective care and support.
  • Work co-operatively with the three Day Care office teams to enhance the lives of Live-in Customers.
  • Help plan live-in care rotas where needed. These are usually planned three months in advance.
  • Make sure care professionals understand their schedules, travel arrangements and arrival times so there is a clear handover between placements.
  • Take part in the out-of-hours emergency on-call rota.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
