An opportunity to join a consulting start-up in year 2, be part of the journey, experience a competitive reward package and flexible way of working.

Successful candidates will be expected to:

  • Have at least 5 years' experience in UK financial services consulting sector in some form, in wealth management, asset management, life and pensions or banking

  • Grow and develop aro. as a whole across areas of interest, be that recruitment, operations, our corporate social responsibility or other areas

The Position

We're looking for senior consultants who know how financial services firms really run, understand what we're building, see the potential and want to work hard to share in our future. You will lead client work alongside aro. people, and on your own where your role and the engagement suits it, while helping shape our propositions and the direction of our business. We think we offer an exciting environment in which to do this.

You should be able to demonstrate:

  • Technology landscape: a good understanding of the technology and systems used within the sector(s) relevant to you.
  • Operating model design: a clear understanding of how these businesses organise people, process, technology and governance day-to-day, and how change reshapes them. Experience designing and implementing new operating models is a strong advantage.
  • Change programme delivery: experience of the full lifecycle of an operational change programme, whether management of a technology implementation, efficiency drive, regulatory change or developing a new proposition, from first idea through to go-live and post-live support.
  • Communication & team leadership: comfortable working with and presenting to C-suite level clients. Can join an unfamiliar team, quickly earn trust, and motivate, challenge and support colleagues towards a shared outcome.
  • Client focus: gets to the heart of a client's problem, engages proactively, and consistently goes beyond what's expected.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
