Collins Earthworks Ltd has been managing earthmoving projects for over 15 years. Based in the Midlands, we provide a fast, flexible, reliable and professional service nationwide. We have a long running success of meeting the demands of our customers from consultation to construction. We are constantly making investments in our fleet and staff. Our ethos has been striving for repeat business from our clients, promoting consistent good workmanship throughout.
Due to increased business levels and expansion we are looking for an experienced full-time Mobile Plant Fitter to be based out of our Ripley site.

We are looking for an experienced, reliable and hard-working individual who can start as soon as possible.
Your day-to-day duties may include but are not limited to:
- Routine servicing and repairing plant machinery on site predominantly
- Regularly inspecting engines, gearboxes and hydraulics
- Identifying faults and repairing or replacing faulty parts
- Testing and reassembling of equipment as part of machinery servicing
- Using hand and power tools and specialist equipment as required
Skills Required
- Mechanical maintenance experience
- Good communication skills for working with colleagues
- The ability to work alone without direct supervision
- To have held responsibility within a previous or current role
- Full UK Drivers License

This is a full-time position including 21 days holiday plus 8 statutory Bank Holidays. The rate of pay will be dependant on experience, overtime is always available. Collins operate an auto enrolment pension scheme for employees. The successful applicant will be required to undertake 6 months’ probationary period.
