Role Description
As an Experienced Optical Assistant at Specsavers Stockport, you will provide day-to-day support to customers in our on-site store, ensuring an excellent experience at every stage of their visit. This full-time role includes:
- Welcoming and guiding customers
- Assisting with frame selection and lens options
- Managing bookings
- Handling product queries
- Supporting the dispensing process, ensuring accurate information is recorded in store systems
The role also involves:
- Liaising closely with other team members
- Maintaining a clean and organized environment
- Supporting the delivery of consistent, high-quality eyecare services

Qualifications
Candidates should possess:
- Strong Interpersonal Skills and a focus on Customer Satisfaction to build trust and provide a positive in-store experience.
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to explain products clearly and respond effectively to customer needs.
- A basic understanding of Optometry or prior optical retail experience.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment are highly beneficial.
- Previous experience in an optical assistant or similar customer-facing role is essential; training will be provided to build on existing skills.
