Experienced Orthopaedic Scrub And Recovery Practitioner
37.5 hours per week (Some Unsocial Hours - Night shifts after initial training period)
Permanent
Salary: £32,073 - £39,043 per annum pro rata

You will ensure high-quality treatment and exceptional patient care in our Theatre environment. Promoting a safe working area for our patients. Collaborate with other clinicians, build strong working relationships that enhance patient care and service delivery.
- Strive for the continuous improvements in the delivery of high-quality patient focused care.
- To have a clear understanding of how this post contributes to the achievement of the Trust’s vision and EXCEL values and behave in a way that reflects these.
- Assist in the provision of assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients in the perioperative environment.
- Being sensitive to our patients and staff needs for courtesy, dignity and privacy and always ensuring a friendly environment.
- As skills develop, manage the Theatre area in the absence of the Team Leaders, maintain safe staffing levels, ensuring that polices are always adhered to, and the Senior Theatre team remain updated.
- Assist the Professional Development Team in the management of preceptorship of newly qualified staff, return to practice staff and the mentorship of Nursing /ODP students and theatre support workers.
- Show a willingness to learn new skills for own Professional Development.
