Experienced Recruitment Consultant - Insolvency & Restructuring team

Are you an experienced recruitment consultant looking to take ownership of an established and highly respected Insolvency & Recovery desk?

Ambition is the leading specialist recruiter within the Professional Services sector, partnering with many of the UK's most respected insolvency practices, restructuring boutiques, advisory firms and accounting networks. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an ambitious and commercially driven consultant to join our London team and help take an already successful desk to the next level.

The Opportunity

This is a warm, established desk focused on the Senior Manager, Director and Partner market across Insolvency & Restructuring. The desk has a strong reputation and extensive network across the restructuring and insolvency community, giving you the platform to build upon existing relationships in the UK and Internationally whilst creating new opportunities through your market presence, credibility and network.

This is a highly consultative, senior-level market where success is driven by relationships, reputation and deep market knowledge. You'll work closely with some of the most influential professionals and firms in the sector, becoming a trusted adviser to both candidates and clients.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Managing and developing an established Insolvency & restructuring recruitment desk.
  • Building long-term relationships with insolvency practitioners, restructuring professionals and advisory firms.
  • Acting as a trusted market expert and career adviser.
  • Managing the full recruitment lifecycle from business development through to offer management and placement.
  • Attending industry networking events, conferences and professional gatherings.
  • Organising and hosting roundtables, networking forums and market insight events.

What We're Looking For

  • A successful track record within recruitment.
  • Experience operating in a candidate-led, relationship-driven market.
  • The ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, including Senior Managers, Directors and Partners.
  • Strong business development and relationship management skills.
  • Experience attending industry events and confidence in organising and leading roundtable discussions, networking forums and thought leadership events.
  • Commercial ambition and a desire to become the go-to recruiter within the Insolvency & Recovery market.
