SMLX Freight is looking for an experienced Removals & Delivery Driver to support our growing removals and transport operations across London and surrounding areas.
Tasks
- We are looking for someone reliable, professional, and experienced who takes pride in providing a high standard of service. Frequent work is available, with the opportunity to become a regular part of the SMLX team.
- Previous professional removals and/or delivery experience is essential
- Full UK driving licence
- Good driving record
- Confident and experienced driving commercial vans, including Luton-style vehicles
- Experience safely loading, securing, and handling furniture and appliances
- Physically capable of carrying out manual handling and lifting duties
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Good customer service and communication skills

Requirements
- Driving company-provided or approved vehicles for removals and delivery jobs
- Loading and unloading furniture, boxes, appliances, and other household or commercial items
- Safely securing goods for transport
- Checking items against job information before departure
- Communicating professionally with customers throughout the job
- Reporting any damage, delays, or issues immediately
- Keeping vehicles and equipment clean and presentable
- Working alongside other SMLX team members on larger jobs
