Role Description
The Experienced Roofer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Surrey. The roofer will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of roofing systems on residential and commercial properties, including pitched and flat roofs.

Daily tasks include:

The role involves reading and interpreting plans, working at height with appropriate fall protection, and collaborating with site teams to complete projects on time. The roofer will also communicate with supervisors and clients as needed, maintain tools and equipment, and follow all health and safety regulations and company procedures.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in roofing installation, repair, and maintenance across residential and commercial projects.
- Proficiency with various roofing materials and systems (e.g., tiles, shingles, flat roofing membranes, leadwork, waterproofing details).
- Solid understanding of construction drawings, measurements, and roof layout planning.
- Demonstrated commitment to health and safety, including working at height, using PPE, and following site safety protocols.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working in varying weather conditions.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with site managers and colleagues.
- Previous experience with drone-assisted roof inspections and photographic reporting is an asset.
- Relevant trade qualification or apprenticeship in roofing (or equivalent practical experience) preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites in Surrey, BC and surrounding areas.
