This is a full-time, on-site role based in Tamworth for an Experienced Roofer and Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Installer. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing roofing systems to safely support solar PV arrays on commercial, industrial, and domestic properties. On a day-to-day basis, the installer will prepare roofs, fit mounting systems, install solar panels and associated electrical components, and work closely with electrical teams to ensure systems are completed to industry standards. Responsibilities include conducting site assessments, following technical drawings, adhering to health and safety procedures, and ensuring all work meets relevant regulations and quality expectations. The role may also involve occasional travel to project sites across the region, liaising with clients and contractors on-site, and supporting commissioning and handover of completed installations.

Qualifications
- Roofing skills, including installation, repair, and maintenance of various roof types, with a strong understanding of structural integrity and weatherproofing.
- Solar PV installation skills, including mounting systems, panel placement, basic DC wiring, and working to technical drawings and specifications.
- Health and safety awareness, including working at height, manual handling, safe use of tools and equipment, and adherence to site safety procedures.
- Experience in commercial, industrial, or domestic construction environments, with the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team on active sites.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to identify and resolve installation issues on roofs and PV systems.
- Relevant trade qualifications or certifications in roofing or solar PV installation (e.g., NVQ or equivalent) are highly beneficial.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to different project locations as required.
- Ability to work reliably in all weather conditions, maintain professional conduct on-site, and communicate clearly with colleagues, contractors, and clients.
