Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Royalty Auditor to join 360 Forensic Limited in a full-time, remote role.
The successful candidate will lead royalty audit assignments from planning through to completion, including contract and data analysis, audit testing, reporting, and settlement negotiations.
The ideal candidate will have significant royalty audit or contract compliance experience, a strong analytical mindset, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
Experience within the Consumer Products sector is particularly important, while additional experience in Technology and/or Music would be a distinct advantage.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering valuable financial and commercial insights to clients while maintaining 360 Forensic's high standards of audit quality and client service.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead royalty and contract compliance audits across multiple industries, with a particular focus on Consumer Products and additional exposure to sectors such as Technology, Music, and Entertainment
- Review and analyse contracts, financial statements, royalty reports, sales data, and other supporting documentation to assess compliance with licensing agreements
- Perform detailed data analysis and audit testing to identify discrepancies, inconsistencies, reporting errors, and potential underpayments
- Interpret complex licensing agreements and assess the application of contractual royalty provisions
- Prepare clear, detailed, and high-quality audit reports setting out findings, financial impacts, and recommendations
- Present and communicate audit findings effectively to clients, licensees, and other relevant stakeholders
- Support and participate in settlement discussions and negotiations arising from audit findings
- Work closely with Senior Management to develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Manage audit assignments effectively, including timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication
- Stay informed of industry developments, emerging commercial practices, and best practices relating to royalty auditing, licensing, and contract compliance

Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- At least 5 years’ experience in auditing, accounting, financial analysis, contract compliance, or a related field, with royalty audit experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrable experience of leading audit assignments and managing client and stakeholder relationships
- Strong experience within the Consumer Products sector is preferred
- Experience within Technology and/or Music would be an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with data analysis tools
- Good understanding of the IP licensing industry, including royalty structures, licensing agreements, and intellectual property rights
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex findings clearly and commercially
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and collaborate effectively as part of a remote team
- A professional qualification or certification in accounting, auditing, or a related field would be an advantage
