Role Description
The Experienced Sealant Applicator will be responsible for applying internal and external sealants to new-build properties and other construction projects to a high standard of finish. Day-to-day tasks include:

- Preparing surfaces
- Selecting appropriate sealant materials
- Using manual and powered application tools
- Ensuring neat, consistent joints in kitchens, bathrooms, windows, doors, and other areas as required

The role involves working closely with site managers and other trades, following site plans and schedules, and complying with all health and safety procedures. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Glasgow, with travel to various local construction sites as needed. The position requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a sealant applicator or mastic applicator in residential or commercial construction.
- Strong practical skills in surface preparation, sealant selection, and precise application using manual and powered tools.
- Good understanding of construction site practices, health and safety regulations, and safe handling of materials.
- Ability to read basic site drawings or instructions and coordinate work with site managers and other trades.
- Reliable time management, ability to work independently without close supervision, and commitment to meeting project deadlines.
- Physical ability to work on-site, including standing for extended periods, working at height, and moving between properties.
- Effective communication skills, professional conduct on site, and a focus on quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
- A valid driver’s license and access to transport are beneficial; relevant trade certificates or training in construction or sealant application are an advantage.
