Job Title: Experienced Security Engineer
Location: Head Office based in Farnborough, Hampshire. Travel primarily across London and surrounding counties.
Hours: Monday to Friday (08:30 – 17:00)
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Security Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, fault finding, and commissioning of a range of electronic security systems across commercial and residential sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, service and maintain intruder alarm systems
- Install, service and maintain CCTV systems
- Install, service and maintain door entry and access control systems
- Diagnose and rectify faults efficiently
- Commission new security systems and ensure they operate to the required standards
- Complete service reports and job documentation accurately
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional appearance at all times
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with current industry standards and health and safety regulations
- Work independently and as part of a team

Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as a Security Engineer
- Strong knowledge of:
- Intruder alarm systems
- CCTV systems
- Door entry systems
- Access control systems
- Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

- Experience with a variety of leading security manufacturers

- Service and maintain emergency lighting and AOV systems

On-Call Requirement
The successful candidate will be required to participate in a rotating out-of-hours on-call service, approximately once every 4–5 weeks. Appropriate on-call payments and overtime will be provided where applicable
