Join a growing, forward-thinking financial services business
Livian Wealth is looking for an experienced, CAS-qualified Mortgage & Protection Broker to join our growing team.
Our Vision
We're not looking to become just another mortgage brokerage. Our ambition is to become our clients' trusted local financial services partner, supporting them throughout every stage of their financial lives.
Through Livian Wealth and Livian Legacy Planning, our wider group can support clients across mortgages, protection, pensions, investments, retirement planning, estate planning, Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, trusts, and inheritance tax planning.
For the right mortgage broker, this creates an opportunity to offer clients something genuinely different.
More than simply arranging mortgages
We believe the strongest client relationships are built by being able to help clients when they need you, not simply when their mortgage is due for renewal.
As part of Livian, you'll be able to introduce your clients to trusted specialists within the wider business when they require advice outside your own area of expertise.
This can help you:
- Strengthen your client relationships
- Improve long-term client retention
- Increase the lifetime value of your client bank
- Provide a broader service without having to become an expert in every area
- Generate additional income through our internal referral bonus structure
Our aim is simple: keep more of our clients' financial needs within the Livian family.
The opportunity
We're looking for an established broker who wants the independence and earning potential of being self-employed, while being part of an ambitious and professional financial services business.
You'll provide high-quality mortgage and protection advice, develop long-term client relationships, and proactively grow your own client bank.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
Graduate Consultant — 2026 Scheme
Why you're a good match
StrongYour economics background and your summer at a regional bank line up with what PwC looks for on the consulting scheme. Applications close in four weeks.
See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
We want advisers who think beyond the immediate transaction. A mortgage may be the reason a client first speaks to you, but we want Livian to become the business they turn to for financial guidance throughout their lives.
What we're looking for
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Minimum 5 years' mortgage advice experience
- Current CAS status
- CeMAP or equivalent recognised mortgage qualification
- Strong knowledge of the UK mortgage and protection market
- A proven track record of delivering excellent client outcomes
- Strong compliance and file-quality standards
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive and commercially minded approach
- The motivation to generate and develop new business
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a wider team
- A genuine desire to build long-term relationships rather than simply complete transactions
An existing client bank or introducer relationships would be advantageous, although the quality and ambition of the individual are equally important.
Why join Livian?
A broader proposition for your clients
Instead of referring valuable clients outside your business when they need pensions, investments, retirement, or estate planning advice, you'll have access to specialists within the Livian group.
Internal referral opportunities
Our structure is designed to encourage collaboration across the business. Where your clients require additional services, our internal referral bonus structure gives you the opportunity to benefit from the wider relationship you have developed.
Cross-referral potential
The relationship works both ways. As Livian Wealth and Livian Legacy Planning continue to grow, mortgage and protection requirements identified across the wider client base can create opportunities for our mortgage advisers.

Build recurring client relationships
We want brokers to develop valuable long-term client banks rather than constantly having to replace completed business. Reviews, remortgages, home moves, protection, and wider financial planning all provide opportunities to remain relevant to clients for many years.
Independence with a team around you
Enjoy the autonomy and earning potential associated with being self-employed while working alongside professionals across mortgage, protection, wealth management, and estate planning.
Be part of something we're building
Livian is an ambitious and growing business. We're investing in our brand, technology, processes, and client proposition with the aim of creating a modern financial services business built around long-term client relationships. We're therefore looking for people who want to contribute to that journey rather than simply find somewhere to place their next mortgage case.
Who would suit Livian?
You may already be a successful self-employed broker looking for a stronger proposition for your clients.
Alternatively, you may be an experienced employed adviser who has built a strong track record and now wants greater independence, earning potential, and ownership over your client relationships.
Either way, you'll be highly motivated, commercially minded, client-focused, and ambitious. You'll also understand that providing an outstanding service today creates opportunities for years to come.
Interested?
If you're an experienced, CAS-qualified Mortgage & Protection Broker and the idea of joining a modern, forward-thinking financial services business appeals to you, we'd like to hear from you.
