The opportunity
EY Parthenon provides services within the domain of mergers and acquisitions, private and public offerings, valuations, business modeling, due diligence and financial consulting. Through our independent position with respect to lenders, investors, and investment bankers, our team of professionals is ideally placed to successfully support corporate transactions.
Within EY Parthenon, our Mergers and Acquisitions team is looking to reinforce the team with talented professionals in an Experienced Staff/Senior Consultant role.
Responsibilities
As a Consultant Mergers & Acquisitions, you will work on buy- and sell-side M&A transactions. Your tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Assist corporates and financial investors in managing the M&A process from deal sourcing to final closing
- Assist in drafting all transaction documentation such as a pitch, proposal, teaser, information memorandum, management presentation a.o.
- Assist in identifying a long list of (international) potential buyers, both strategic and financial
- Assist in developing a business plan in order to make a valuation of the company
- Assist in the coordination of the due diligence process
- Assist in negotiations of commercial terms and legal documentation
- Assist in giving financial advice to clients on all transaction-related matters
Skills And Attributes For Success
- At least 2 years of experience in reviewing analysts work models, valuations, and pitch presentations;
- A good knowledge of M&A and the ability to apply your skills creatively to diverse client needs;
- Strong current knowledge of Vietnamese Accounting Standards and basic knowledge of IFRS
- Strong and effective English written and verbal communication skills
- A dedication to teamwork
- A strong work initiative and ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced, multi-tasked, demanding and deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, project management and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel, when necessary.

Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or Finance
- Professional certificates (CFA, CPA, ACCA, etc.) are preferred
