We are always interested in speaking with talented Tax Senior Manager across a range of tax disciplines. About the Role
As a Tax Senior Manager, you will run portfolios of client work, lead complex engagements, and develop the people around you - with a mindset of delivering excellent outcomes by getting the best out of others. Responsibilities will vary depending on experience and specialism but may include:
- Acting as technical lead across multiple engagements, providing high-quality advice and reviewing Manager-level output
- Leading complex client engagements for large and multinational businesses, coordinating specialists across teams
- Running and growing a portfolio of client relationships, identifying opportunities and expanding existing accounts
- Advising on complex client matters relevant to your specialism - for example, transactions, restructurings, cross-border structuring, or indirect tax positions
- Managing engagement economics across your portfolio, including budgets, recovery rates, and WIP/billing recommendations
- Collaborating with colleagues across jurisdictions within the WTS Global network on cross-border projects
- Generating new opportunities and supporting proposals and pitches
- Developing Managers and junior team members, and managing performance and quality across multiple engagement teams
- Championing our technology-enabled ways of working, using AI and digital tools to enhance delivery across your teams
- Building strong internal relationships and acting as a collaborative, influential voice within the firm

Qualifications
- CTA, ACA, ACCA, CA or equivalent professional qualification – or qualified by experience
- Substantial experience in tax advisory or tax compliance, gained in practice or industry
- Strong technical knowledge in one or more tax disciplines, with a track record of leading complex work
- Commercial mindset with the ability to translate complex technical issues into clear, practical advice
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience managing engagement economics, client relationships, and developing Managers and junior team members
- A collaborative, influential mindset aligned with our culture
