Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm or 9:30am to 6:00pm

We manufacture and supply timber garden buildings, log cabins, and modular buildings to customers across the UK. We employ around 300 people across Yorkshire and Scotland and continue to invest in our people, products, and operations.
About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Timber Machinist to join our timber mill team. This is a skilled role producing accurately machined timber for our garden-building production departments while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and operate timber mill moulders.
- Select, fit, and adjust tooling safely and accurately.
- Machine timber to the required measurements and profiles.
- Complete machine adjustments, product changeovers, and routine checks.
- Inspect finished timber for quality and accuracy.
- Identify defects and resolve machining issues.
- Follow production plans and meet agreed output requirements.
- Keep the timber mill clean, organised, and safe.

What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience as a Timber Machinist or Wood Machinist.
- Confidence setting and operating timber mill moulders.
- Good knowledge of timber, tooling, and machining processes.
- Ability to work accurately from measurements and specifications.
- Strong awareness of machine safety.
- A reliable, practical, and quality-focused approach.
- Forklift truck or side-loader experience would be useful but is not essential.
