EXPERIENCED TIMBER MACHINIST

Location: Rodley, Leeds, LS13 1NP
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm or 9:30am to 6:00pm
Salary: Competitive and negotiable depending on experience
Contract: Permanent, full-time
Start date: ASAP
The Role
Woodlands Home & Garden Group is looking for an experienced Timber Machinist to join our timber mill team in Rodley.
This is a skilled role for someone with experience setting and operating timber mill moulders. You will produce accurately machined timber for our garden building production departments while maintaining high standards of quality, productivity and safety.

- Set and operate timber mill moulders
- Select, fit and adjust tooling
- Machine timber to the required measurements and profiles
- Complete machine adjustments and product changeovers
- Check finished timber for quality and accuracy
- Identify defects and resolve machining issues
- Follow production plans and meet output targets
- Complete routine machine and safety checks
- Keep the timber mill clean, organised and safe
About You
- Experienced Timber or Wood Machinist
- Confident setting and operating timber mill moulders
- Good understanding of timber, tooling and machining processes
- Able to work accurately from measurements and specifications
- Strong awareness of machine safety
- Reliable, practical and quality-focused

Forklift truck or side loader experience would be useful but is not essential.
